PICKLEBALL UK HEADS TO SCOTLAND FOR OUR FIRST EVENT IN THE COUNTRY TO BE HELD IN STIRLING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF STIRLING TENNIS CENTRE, THE CAUSEWAY, STIRLING, FK9 4LA.

TAKING PLACE ON SUNDAY 6TH DECEMBER – WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE.

This will be the first event the Pickleball UK tour have hosted in Scotland we are looking forward to welcoming you to the tournament. This event is part of the growing Pickleball UK Tour—where competitive play meets a welcoming, social atmosphere.

All matches are uploaded on to DUPR scoring system.

Tournament

The event takes place over 16 courts on an acrylic surface. We will be using Franklin X40 balls.

 
Categories for this tournament to include:
Men’s Doubles / Women’s Doubles / Mixed Doubles 
  Age categories for doubles; Open and 50+ 3 skill levels 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 . Please note we may combine skill levels subject to number of entries and to ensure you have as many matches as possible to compete in
Round robin matches, followed by knockout for those that qualify and medals – gold, silver and bronze. Guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches, but hopefully more for all depending on the number of entries and how you progress in the event.

Registration

  There is no registration fee for this event. The entry fee per person per event is £28 each. Registration is due to close on Sunday 15th of November. Please note it may close sooner if the event is fully subscribed

Schedule

 
Anticipated schedule for the event, but TBC:
  • Men’s and Women’s Doubles – open age and 50 + categories – Registration 9.45am, practice courts available from 9.45am – tournament starts 10.30am
  • Mixed Doubles – open age and 50 + categories – Registration – 2.30pm, practice courts available from 2.30pm- tournament starts 3pm
