we are extremly excited to announce pickleball uk’s first northern ireland tour event – the belfast summer champs.

Join us for a fantastic 1-day event on Saturday 25th July 2026, as we bring the pickleball uk tour to the indoor tennis and ozone complex, Ormeau Embankment, Belfast BT6 8LT

This event was originally planned to take place over two days. Following a scheduling update, it will now be held on a single day, allowing us to deliver the same great tournament experience in a streamlined format. We look forward to welcoming everyone for an exciting day of competitive pickleball, great matches, and a fantastic atmosphere.

This promises to be another brilliant weekend of pickleball, combining competitive play with the welcoming and social atmosphere that defines the Pickleball UK Tour.

Tournament

The event takes place over 12 courts on an acrylic surface. We will be using Franklin X40 balls.

  Categories for this tournament to include:
Men’s Doubles / Women’s Doubles / Mixed Doubles 
Age categories for doubles; 18+ (Open), 45+ and 60+ 3 skill levels 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 +. Please note we may combine skill levels subject to number of entries and to ensure you have as many matches as possible to compete in.

Round robin matches, followed by knockout for those that qualify and medals – gold, silver and bronze. Guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches, but hopefully more for all depending on the number of entries and how you progress in the event.

Registration

There is no registration fee for this event. The entry fee per person per event is £28 each. Registration is due to close on Sunday 19th July. Please note it may close sooner if the event is fully subscribed.

  • 9am – Gender Doubles – Men and Women – Open and 45 +
  • 1pm – Mixed Doubles – Open and 45 + Mixed Double

A pickleball event for all skill levels. Designed to give all the opportunity to have fun and compete against similar like-minded players.
