PICKLEBALL UK RETURN BACK TO THE WEST COUNTRY FOR OUR FIRST TOURNAMENT TO BE HELD IN BRISTOL AT THE CLIFTON COLLEGE TENNIS CENTRE, CLIFTON COLLEGE SPORTS GROUND, ABBOTS LEIGH ROAD, BRISTOL BS8 3QD. TAKING PLACE ON SATURDAY 21st NOVEMBER – WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE.

This will be the first event the Pickleball UK tour have hosted in Bristol and we can’t wait to welcome you. This event is part of the growing Pickleball UK Tour—where competitive play meets a welcoming, social atmosphere.

All matches are uploaded on to DUPR.

Tournament

The event takes place over 12 courts on an acrylic surface. We will be using Franklin X40 balls.

Categories for this tournament to include:
Men’s Doubles / Women’s Doubles / Mixed Doubles 
  Age categories for doubles; Open and 50+ 3 skill levels 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 . Please note we may combine skill levels subject to number of entries and to ensure you have as many matches as possible to compete in

Round robin matches, followed by knockout for those that qualify and medals – gold, silver and bronze. Guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches, but hopefully more for all depending on the number of entries and how you progress in the event.

Registration

There is no registration fee for this event. The entry fee per person per event is £28 each. Registration is due to close on Sunday 15th of November. Please note it may close sooner if the event is fully subscribed

Schedule

Anticipated schedule for the event, but TBC:
  • Men’s and Women’s Doubles – open age and 50 + categories – Registration 8.45am, practice courts available from 9am – tournament starts 9.45.am
  • Mixed Doubles – open age and 50 + categories – Registration – 1.45pm, practice courts available from 1.45pm- tournament starts 2.30pm

A pickleball event for all skill levels. Designed to give all the opportunity to have fun and compete against similar like-minded players.
