This promises to be another brilliant weekend of pickleball, combining competitive play with the welcoming and social atmosphere that defines the Pickleball UK Tour.

Tournament

The event takes place over 12 courts on an acrylic surface. We will be using Franklin X40 balls.

Categories for this tournament to include:
Men’s Doubles / Women’s Doubles / Mixed Doubles / women’s and men’s singles
  Age categories for doubles; 18+ (Open), 45+ and 60+ 3 skill levels 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 +. Please note we may combine skill levels subject to number of entries and to ensure you have as many matches as possible to compete in. Round robin matches, followed by knockout for those that qualify and medals – gold, silver and bronze. Guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches, but hopefully more for all depending on the number of entries and how you progress in the event.

Registration

There is no registration fee for this event. The entry fee per person per event is £28 each. Registration is due to close on Sunday 16th August. Please note it may close sooner if the event is fully subscribed.

Schedule

Please note the schedule is yet to be confirmed, but below is the expected order of play Saturday 22nd August – Gender Doubles 45 + / Mixed Doubles 45 + / Singles Men’s and Women’s Open and 50 +
  • Open and 50 + Men’s and Ladies Singles – from 1.30pm (please note singles and 45 + gender doubles will clash. You can still enter singles and 45 + mixed on the day, but not gender 60 + doubles and singles. Apologies
  • 45 + Men’s and Women’s Doubles – 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 + from 1.30pm
  • 45 + Mixed Doubles – 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 + from 4.30pm
Sunday 23rd August – Gender Doubles Open and 60 + and Mixed Doubles Open and 60 +
  • Open Age and 60 + Men’s and Women’s Doubles, 2.5/3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 + – from 9.30am
  • Open Age and 60 + Mixed Doubles 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 + – from 2.30pm
