we are extremly excited and proud to announce pickleball uk’s first london and essex pickleball uk summer champs tour event – A great warm up event for the english open!

a 2-day event in the east of london taking place on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th august 2026, at the redbridge indoor tennis centre, forest road, ilford

 

This promises to be another brilliant weekend of pickleball, combining competitive play with the welcoming and social atmosphere that defines the Pickleball UK Tour.

Tournament

The event takes place over 16 courts on an acrylic surface. We will be using Franklin X40 balls.

Categories for this tournament to include:
Men’s Doubles / Women’s Doubles / Mixed Doubles / Singles event
  Age categories for doubles; 18+ (Open), 45+ and 60+ 4 skill levels 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 and 4.5 + . Please note we may combine skill levels subject to number of entries and to ensure you have as many matches as possible to compete in. Round robin matches, followed by knockout for those that qualify and medals – gold, silver and bronze. Guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches, but hopefully more for all depending on the number of entries and how you progress in the event.

Registration

There is no registration fee for this event. The entry fee per person per event is £28 each. You can enter gender doubles, mixed doubles and singles event of both single sex and mixed doubles.

Schedule

  Saturday 8th August – Men’s and Women’s Singles + 45 + Gender and Mixed Doubles
  • Singles – Men and Women’s – Open and 50 + from 9.30am
  • 45 + Gender Doubles – Men’s and Women’s from 12.30pm
  • 45 + Mixed Doubles – from 4pm
  Sunday 9th August – Open and 60 + Gender and Mixed Doubles
  • Open and 60 + Gender Doubles – Men’s and Women’s from 9am
  • Open and 60 + Mixed Doubles – from 2pm

A pickleball event for all skill levels. Designed to give all the opportunity to have fun and compete against similar like-minded players.
