The Pickleball UK Tour RETURNS TO THE NORTH EAST for our end of summer pickleball uk tour event.

taking place OVER 2 DAYS on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th SEPTEMBER 2026 at THE SILKWORTH LEISURE COMPLEX, SILKWORTH LANE, SUNDERLAND, SR3 1PD.

This is our 3rd event in Sunderland, we love coming back to the North East as everyone is so friendly and welcoming. This event is part of the growing Pickleball UK Tour—where competitive play meets a welcoming, social atmosphere.

All matches will be uploaded on to DUPR.

Tournament

The event takes place over 16 courts on an acrylic surface. We will be using Franklin X40 balls.

Men’s Doubles / Women’s Doubles / Mixed Doubles / Singles eventS
  Age categories for doubles; 18+ (Open), 50 + and 60+ 3 skill levels 3.0 (beginner), 3.5 (intermediate) and 4.0 + (advanced). Please note we may combine skill levels subject to the number of entries and to ensure you have as many matches as possible to compete in.

Round robin matches, followed by knockout for those that qualify and medals – gold, silver and bronze. Guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches, but hopefully more for all depending on the number of entries and how you progress in the event.

Registration

There is no registration fee for this event. The entry fee per person per event is £28 each. Registration is due to close on Sunday 6th of September. Please note it may close sooner if the event is fully subscribed.

Schedule

SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER
  • Singles Open – Men and Women’s from 12 noon (please note you will not be able to enter singles and 60 + mixed doubles as the times will clash)
  • Mixed Doubles 60 + from 12 noon
  SUNDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER
  • Open and 50+ Gender Doubles – men and women from 8.30am
  • Open and 50 + Mixed Doubles from 12.30pm
  Please note the above times may be subject to slight change.

A pickleball event for all skill levels. Designed to give all the opportunity to have fun and compete against similar like-minded players.
