WE RETURN TO SUNDERLAND FOR OUR NORTH EAST SUMMER PICKLEBALL UK TOUR TOURNAMENT TAKING PLACE ON SATURDAY 20TH JUNE AT THE BEACON OF LIGHT CENTRE, Stadium Park, Sunderland, SR5 1SN

AFTER THE SUCCESS OF OUR LAST TOURNAMENT IN DECEMBER 2025, WE LOOK FORWARD TO RETURNING AND ORGANISING A GREAT DAY OF PICKLEBALL. a friendly WELCOME, FUN atmosphere, BUT a competitive spirt and Medals up for grabs.

 

 

Tournament

The event takes place over 12 courts on a wooden surface. We will be using Franklin X40 balls.

Men’s Doubles / Women’s Doubles / Mixed Doubles 
Age categories; 18+ (Open) and 50+
3 skill levels 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 +. Please note we may combine skill levels subject to number of entries and to ensure you have as many matches as possible to compete in. You can enter one gender and one mixed doubles division.

Round robin matches, followed by knockout for those that qualify and medals – gold, silver and bronze. Guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches, but hopefully more for all depending on the number of entries and how you progress in the event.

Registration

There is no registration fee for this event. The entry fee per person per event is £28 each. Registration is due to close on Sunday 14th June. Please note it may close sooner if the event is fully subscribed.

Schedule

Anticipated schedule for the event, but TBC:
  • Men’s and Women’s Doubles – open age and 50 + categories – Registration 8.45am, practice courts available from 9am – tournament starts 9.30.am
  • Mixed Doubles – open age and 50 + categories – Registration – 1.30pm, practice courts available from 1.30pm- tournament start 2pm
Please note the above times are only estimated and are subject to change. Your first match time will be confirmed by email once the draw has taken place. A pickleball event for all skill levels. Designed to give all the opportunity to have fun and compete against similar like-minded players.
