A Fantastic Weekend of Pickleball Action!
What an incredible weekend of pickleball we have enjoyed! From the very first serve to the final point, the venue was filled with smiles, laughter, excitement, and an amazing sense of team spirit.
Players travelled from across the country to take part in another fantastic Pickleball UK Tour event, showcasing not only their skill and determination but also the friendly and welcoming atmosphere that makes our sport so special.
We kicked off the tournament with the Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Men’s 45+ and Women’s 45+ events, where competitors produced some outstanding performances and highly competitive matches. Spectators were treated to thrilling rallies, impressive shot-making, and plenty of dramatic moments throughout the day.
The action continued with the Men’s Singles Open, where players battled it out in a display of speed, endurance, and tactical play. Every point mattered as Paul Freeman and Lee Roberts pushed themselves to the limit in pursuit of victory. Lee just winning 18-17.
We also saw fantastic competition in the Mixed Doubles event, proving once again that pickleball truly is a sport for all ages. The camaraderie, sportsmanship, and enjoyment on display were a credit to every player who took part.
Beyond the results, what stood out most was the incredible community spirit. Friends old and new shared laughs, supported one another, and celebrated the success of fellow competitors. It is this unique combination of competition and friendship that makes our tournaments such special occasions.
A huge thank you goes to all of our players, volunteers, officials, and supporters who helped make the weekend such a success. Your enthusiasm and passion for pickleball continue to drive the growth of the sport across the UK.
